Recently released, BingTweets, has apparently taken the first step towards integrating real time search, on Microsoft’s decision engine Bing. While it does nothing but show you the latest trends, you can also use it to search anything. Only, this time the results that will be returned will specifically come from Twitter. You can also send a Tweet directly from the site, as well as sharing it with the most popular social bookmarking sites on the web. An added functionality is the ability to ReTweet a Tweet from the site. You do not have to leave Bing Tweets to do this.
Let us here what Bing Tweets has to say about them:
What is BingTweets?
BingTweets combines Twitter trends with Bing search results, enabling you to see deeper, real-time information about the hottest topics on Twitter. You can also search for anything in the BingTweets search box (at the top right of every page) and see Bing search results alongside the most recent related tweets.

Notice that BingTweets is using bit.ly as their URL shortening service. That’s something to think about. So what do you think of BingTweets? Have you heard about it already?
